In this project you will finish the work of people before you who tried to reactivate the large life-giving structure called the Jellyfish. You will do this by exploring the hostile environment and activating the correct mechanisms.

DEVELOPMENT

Modular Building System

Creating a base set of references for others to use.

In this project I created the initial references for the buildings and roads. These assets would fit together when using a custom made snapping script, facilitating their placement into the scene. These models were then used by other team members to create more detailed models within the building system.

Editor Tools

Creating tools to facilitate and speed-up development.

To support certain tasks of the team, I created automatic tools which would run in the Editor. These tools could procedurally place buildings or create prefabs from FBXs. When creating tools my objective is to make the workflow as intuitive and easy as possible.

Lighting & Performances

First real use case of Unity HDRP and lighting.

The visual focus of this project has allowed me to explore more in depth the details of HDRP and how to implement specific lighting in the scene. To keep the game enjoyable, I helped structure the project in a performance friendly way.
